New website launched!

If you haven't heard the good news already, we just ordered a wonderful assortment of new T-Shirts. These new T-Shirts are available in a wide variety of colors and sizes, so please stop by and have a look at them!

July 16th Potluck Success!
Thanks to everyone who came to the Family Picnic last weekend, it was a great success and lots of fun. Around 100 adults and children attended. The performances while short, were very good and we hope to have some more people show us their talents next year. The talent show is not just for the kids. Adults are welcome to participate. A highlight this year was Gary Ronne doing a Japanese drum performance.
This Family Picnic is our gift to you. Please attend as it is so great to see everyone and see how the kids are growing:).

Shu Yi's Classes!
Just another reminder that Shu Yi will be available to teach your kids Chinese language classes, and teach simple Chinese painting appropriate for children ages 5 and up. She also has a wonderful hour-long PowerPoint show all about the Chinese culture. She will be available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. Drop Box!
Reminder that there is a 24hr locked, drop box located by the downstairs door. It is checked daily during business days.

Wish List
As we continue to expand and grow, we have realized that its time to get some new furniture.

1. We are looking to replace our old library hutch and entertainment center with some nice new bookcases for our library. The bookcases we want to get will total up to about $800. Is there a donor out there who would like to fund this? Is there someone else who would like our old items?

2. As we add staff, we need more storage for materials. We are hoping to get two new file cabinets for our backroom. Combined they cost $320.

3. We also want to replace our old computer desk that our case workers use so they will have more room for paperwork and desk space. The desk will cost around $600.

We will use budget funds for these items, but if there is a generous donor out there willing to take on even a small portion this will help a lot.

New Email Layout
We hope you like the new layout for our emails, we wanted to be able to easily archive them and place them on our website so you can find information if you need to :). The old emails will be stored in the Library section of the website - www.adoption-horizons.org
